Is there any way to get the 5 x 5 layout to work with out having to reinstall Apex and recreate everything? The custom folders are recreated thankfully. So I try the Apex restore function, it runs ok but it just reintroduces the problem of only showing 4 x 4, when I have 5 x 5 selected. I reinstall Apex and now the change from 4 x 4 to 5 x 5 works as expected, however I have lost all my icons and custom folders. Next I change to Google Launcher, reboot, and then I uninstalled Apex. I also took screen shots of these and the home an 2nd screen too. I also found your backup function so I backed up the current state so I wouldn't lose my custom folders. If I change it to say 6 x 6, the only thing that happens is the icons get smaller and it still stays at a 4 x 4 grid on the home screen.ītw, I have maybe 10 custom folders in the home screen and a second screen that would take time to recreate.
